Miss Minnesota 2007, Jennifer Hudspeth, 23, is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Performance.
She is the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award; Academic Achievement Award; Academic Letter Winner; and is a two time All-State and All-American Cheerleader; and a recipient of a Cheerleading Scholarship. Jennifer has held a variety of leadership roles including serving on the Autism Board of Directors-Harry Myering Center; Autism Society of Minnesota Volunteer, Fraser Schools Volunteer; Woodland Elementary School Volunteer; Program Founder-teen mentors; and has been a Mall of America Teen Board Member.
A passionate educator about Autism, Jennifer has spoken to more than 3000 people in the past six months about the daily struggles that people with disabilities encounter. She is a member of the Autism Society of Minnesota and a speaker for the national organization: Autism Speaks.
Her goal as Miss Minnesota, is to be remembered as an empowered young woman who created a heartfelt awareness, educating Minnesotans regarding the signs and symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorders, so they may learn to be more tolerant and accepting.
